INDIAN WEDDING

“Heretofore tremendous Indian Wedding in Phu Quoc”, given by InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort’s report to this ultimate project of Je t’aime Art collaborating with overseas agency. Throughout over 4 days, we got the privilege to hold the Hindu wedding traditions such as Mehndi, Puja, Haldi, Sehra Bandi, Baraat for the couple, Prerna & Aditya, from Dubai.

Concept

For the best service for 600 foreign guests attending the wedding, the resort limited the amount of spots to offer and blocked out until the last day of the itinerary. To add a touch for the decorations, Je t’aime Art featured bamboo, a Vietnam traditional material for the focal point on the wedding stage. With dimensions of up to 19x8m and weighing nearly 1 ton, the bamboo arch imitating the “Mandap”, which is used as the altar for Indian weddings – only for Jain and Hindu ceremonies, needed 40 male staffs to move the great construction a long way to the venue, and was handcrafted continuously in a week. Along with bamboo, fresh lotus was prepared as welcome gifts to the wedding attendees. This is an honor of Je t’aime Art to introduce the national cultural beauty of Vietnam through works of art to international friends.
